Dashboard

Monitor revenue, expenses, profit, invoices, and cash flow from one view, then export dashboard data to CSV for reporting.

Dashboard keeps your core financial numbers in one place

Use the dashboard to check revenue, expenses, profit, invoice status, cash flow, and recent transaction activity without digging through detailed reports. When you need to share or analyze the data elsewhere, export the dashboard view to CSV.

Dashboard data reflects the company you currently have active in NomadBill.

Dashboard overview

The dashboard gives you a central view of your business performance. It brings together the numbers most teams check regularly, including revenue, expenses, profit, outstanding invoices, paid invoices, cash flow, transaction activity, and currency exposure.

This view is designed for quick monitoring. Instead of opening separate accounting screens, you can scan the dashboard to understand how money is moving through the business and where follow-up may be needed.

Per-company dashboard

If you work across multiple companies, switch to the correct company before reviewing totals or exporting data. The dashboard only shows data for the active company.

Key metrics

The main KPI area highlights the financial values most users track day to day. Use these metrics to spot changes quickly and decide where to drill in next.

MetricWhat it showsWhy it matters
RevenueIncome generated by your businessConfirms how much you are bringing in over the selected period
ExpensesMoney your business has spentHelps you track costs and control spending
ProfitRevenue minus expensesShows whether the business is operating at a gain or loss
Outstanding invoicesInvoices that are still unpaidHelps you identify receivables that may need follow-up
Paid invoicesInvoices that customers have already paidConfirms collected revenue and payment completion
Cash flowMoney moving in and out of the businessHelps you understand liquidity, not only profitability
Transaction activityRecent financial activity across the accountGives you a quick pulse on current movement and changes

Charts on the dashboard turn raw totals into patterns you can read at a glance. Use them to compare performance over time and to see whether revenue, expenses, and profit are moving in the right direction.

Visual trend data is especially useful when totals alone do not explain what changed. A single number might look healthy, while a chart can reveal a decline, a spike in spending, or uneven activity across a period.

The dashboard also includes views related to invoice performance, cash flow, and transaction activity. These visuals help you move from summary to investigation faster because you can spot unusual movement before opening underlying records.

Exporting dashboard data

Export dashboard data to CSV when you need to share numbers with your team, build a custom report, or continue analysis in spreadsheet software. CSV export gives you a portable version of the dashboard data for reporting workflows outside NomadBill.

CSV exports are useful when you need to combine dashboard data with budgeting, forecasting, or board-reporting templates.

Before exporting, confirm that the correct company is active and that the dashboard shows the data you want to report on. Then use the Export CSV action from the dashboard.

After the export finishes, you will have a CSV file you can open in spreadsheet tools for filtering, sorting, and presentation. If the numbers do not match what you expected, check the active company first.
